Mayhem RFC is proud to announce the launch of the Bingham Cup™ 2010 website and registration! It is our goal to make the entire registration process as streamlined and user friendly as possible.
The National Sports Center has been confirmed as the tournament venue and they are very excited about hosting The Bingham Cup. The lush green grass at the NSC is just waiting for some big tackles!
Also excited are the members of the Minnesota Rugby Union, who are bending over backwards to give their support where needed. All of the teams have been in contact with us and are assisting us throughout the planning process.
The GLBT community is equally energized about The Bingham Cup and can’t wait to show you “Minnesota Nice.” Our current focus is on corporate sponsorships. With the current economic crisis, we are finding that many businesses are not giving out as much money as easily, or as quickly, as they have in the past. The Mayhem has just started their fall season, participating in the Jessie James tournament held over Labor Day weekend. Our numbers are slowly rising and are close to having a full B-side team. We’re looking forward to Halloween weekend, when we travel to Dallas to take on the Diablos. This is our year to prevail!
