Subsidies will be allocated to each team to ease the financial burden of lower income players. Subsidies are not available for non players. The number of subsidies each team can avail of will be based on the distance between the region where the team is located and Dublin. The following are the subsidies available per region: | Ireland/UK/Europe | 4 | USA & Canada | 6 | | Australasia /South America | 8 | Compared to the 2006 competition this represents an almost doubling of the subsidies per team. Subsidy codes will be issued to each team, via the team liason, when the online store goes live. It will be up to the team management to decide on how these subsidies are to be allocated. Where a team is registering multiple squads the number of subsidies available to the team will be multiplied by the number of full squads* being registered. In the event of a club being unable to field a complete squad the organisers may be in a position to provide them with supplementary unaffilliated players or ringers. *Squad as defined by IGRAB Bingham Cup Liason Committee (25 members).
